The goal with Fused Expressions was to keep it simple and minimal, and to also bring in the delicate nature of glass, along with the layers that go into creating unique fused pieces of art.
It was important to make sure that the logo design represented the craft of glass fusion and that the branding embodied the artist's main inspiration - Northern Michigan nature. From the glittering bays to the sand dunes, even to the sparkling Northern Michigan winters, we ensured that the artist's muse and craft played a prominent role in the visual identity.
Fused Expressions is an artisan fused glass studio that began as a passion hobby and became a passion business. It was born out of a love for creating beautiful things and aims to bring a touch of luxury and elegance at an affordable price to anyone who needs a bit of indulgence in their lives.

Codex Luminaria is meant to provide an escape from the troubles of daily modern life. Given that it is a literary lounge set within a speakeasy-styled environment, it was important to create an overall experience that felt like stepping back in time into a world of forbidden fruit. The art styles most prominent within the visual identity of Codex Luminaria are a blend of Art Deco and Dark Academia, while the overall brand experience leans heavily on literature and the desire to escape, both physically and mentally, if only for a short while.
Codex Luminaria is a speakeasy-style lounge created by book lovers, for book lovers. It is meant to be a safe social environment for people to partake in literary-themed cocktails and mocktails, book-related events and workshops, and stimulating conversation.

Because it's targeting a younger audience, we want it to be clean and readable, but also captivating and modern.

Verve means "energetic" and "enthusiastic." We needed to take that and combine it with the spirituality and calmness that comes with yoga. I try to avoid the obvious choices when it comes to design, and this logo tells a story of energy, confidence, joy, perseverance, and finding a daily routine. With all this in mind, it still needed to feel high-end enough for luxury activewear and accessories.
We are Verve Yoga, a brand born for the zillennial generation. We create functional + aesthetic yoga and pilates accessories, promoting everyday movement for everyday people, both beginners and seasoned experts. Verve Yoga isn't just about accessories; it's a lifestyle, a statement, and a companion on your journey to a more active and mindful you.
The logo is intentionally designed to be reminiscent of a sun, playing into Verve's daily lifestyle
"V" for Verve - the logo takes away the top bar from the Solar Plexus Chakra to play into the brand's first letter

mini brand identity
Flutter Cafe is a mini identity done as a passion project. I try to avoid the obvious choices when it comes to design, so while I was reading through this brief, I wanted to focus more on the words "tranquil" and "sanctuary" than "butterfly" or "cafe."
I wanted the typeface that I chose for "Flutter" to be what would make people think of butterflies or fairies and I knew that I wanted to include lavender in the design, both the flowers - which butterflies are attracted to - and the color, which is widely known to have a calming effect.
Founded on the belief that dining should be an experience that delights the senses, Flutter Cafe emerged as a tranquil haven nestled within a vibrant butterfly garden. Our cafe offers more than just a menu; it's a sanctuary where guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while enjoying freshly brewed coffee and other treats and wholesome meals.
