I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Communication Arts & Sciences, and a minor in Video Game Design & Development. These programs allowed me to learn and experience how to effectively use visuals to convey a story and establish connection with an audience.

Will you take it with me?

Hey there! I’m glad you’re here.

I'm Jaime, your Great Lakes-based, video and tabletop gaming, parrot-obsessed, caffeine-addicted, book-loving, design expert and branding enthusiast.

A bit about me...

Nothing will ever change if no one takes the first step to make change. I'm working hard to take that step.

This is my assistant, Izzy

he's pretty rude,
but he's really cute

This is Hawke

Our flock has grown from 9 parrots to 9 parrots plus the happiest little [human] boy alive.

I believe that glass ceilings are meant to be broken and that we have a responsibility to foster an inclusive environment, where hate has no voice and antiquated prejudices are a thing of the past. This obviously goes for people of all races, backgrounds, orientations, etc. but it also goes toward something that I hadn't really thought about until I became a mother.

The stigma surrounding working parents is abysmal, and it often leads to one person leaving their career to stay home and raise the children. The parent to stay home is, more often than not, the mom, but this issue affects all parents.

Will you take it with me?

Why should parents have to choose between their careers and their children?

I started Jaime Renee Design so that I wouldn't have to make that choice. And so that I could support other like-minded people in building their dream lives by providing professional, cohesive, and strategic branding and websites for the businesses that they're pouring their hearts and souls into.

My job as a designer and brand strategist is to provide you with an identity that feels seamless to your clientele, authentic to who you are, gives you confidence in yourself and your business, and propels you to new heights that you maybe, possibly, never thought you could reach.

I have been designing for almost a decade, having worked in varying industries like government, real estate, technology, art, and more. My experience has allowed me to hone my skills and focus on crafting unique and intentional brand identities that help you laugh in the face of gravity and change the perception of what it means to run a successful brand.

You know that in order to make change, someone has to jump out of their cozy nest. Why shouldn't that be you?

Ready to take the leap?

So what do you think?
